Getting teeth whitening only involves two dental visits.  

In your first appointment, we will take a digital scan of your teeth.  This first appointment is typically very short, we can take this scan during a dental cleaning and/or check-up appointment.

Then, we will create a custom whitening tray in our in-house lab.  Our whitening trays can typically be ready for pick-up in 2-3 business days after your first visit.

Your second dental visit is an even shorter appointment to simply try-in and pick-up your whitening trays.  You will also be given whitening tubes and instructions to take home on how to use the kit.

The recommended bleaching procedure for the concentration prescribed by the dentists at our office is to leave the whitening gel trays in for 10-15 minutes a day, twice a day, for 14 days.

Additional touch-ups may be required in the future months.  You can reuse your whitening trays and ask your dentist for additional tubes of whitening bleach.

Our at-home whitening product uses peroxide as an active ingredient.  It bleaches teeth through a chemical process that involves breaking down the staining compounds on the tooth's surface.  It is safe for you and your teeth.  It does not weaken the tooth structure.  It also does not affect the strength and does not change the coour of existing restorations in your mouth, such as fillings, crowns, bridges, etc.

It is normal for your teeth to feel sensitive a few days after using the whitening material.  We recommend a desensitizing toothpaste to reduce the sensitivity while you are whitening your teeth.  Your dentist will also give you any other specific precautions that you should take.
